Our Property

Our bed and breakfast is located in a quiet, pastoral setting that will allow you to relax. The house is situated within our property, which encompasses over 60 acres.  We have made walking paths on our farm through an old apple orchard, forest, field, and stream crossed by a covered bridge.  If it's winter and there's snow, be sure to bring your cross-country skis or snow shoes.  Deer, wild turkeys, and other wildlife is commonly seen, sometimes right outside the window. So, you might want to bring a camera.  Check out our pictures below for a preview of our grounds.

Breakfast

A full breakfast in our dining room is included with the price of your room. Accomodations for special dietary requirements can be made. Please ask about this when you call to make a reservation.  We don't serve lunch or dinner; however, you will find a variety of restaurants in Edinboro. Some of those in town are listed below in the next section. If you wish to drive to Erie, you will find a full assortment of establishments about 30 minutes away.

Local Attractions and Restaurants

Edinboro is the home of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, which has an enrollment of over 8,000 students. The campus is just a five minute drive from Apple Tree Farm B&B. If you are interested in boating, fishing, or just talking a walk next to the water, Edinboro sits besides Edinboro Lake. The Mountain View Ski Resort is only a short drive from Edinboro. A short distance away, you will find the Wooden Nickel Buffalo Farm & Restaurant and also Calfin's Restaurant. Other restaurants in the town of Edinboro include Crossroads Dinor, Perkin's Family Restaurant, Uncle Charlie's Pizza Pub, and Valerio's Italian Restaurant. You will also find the usual assortment of fast food establishments there as well. Edinboro also has shopping in the Washington Towne and Lakeside Commons Shopping Centers in addition to the downtown shops.

In Erie, which is only a short drive up I-79, you find more restaurants, shopping, and attractions.  Millcreek Mall, Splash Lagoon, Presque Isle State Park, Penn State Behrend, Gannon University, Mercyhurst College, other attractions, and the Erie International Airport are all located within approximately a half hour drive from Apple Tree Farm Bed & Breakfast.
